about - who am i?
in the morning to set up the camera. by now, the moon has set and the bright stars of the milky way dominate the dark night sky. a few shutter clicks later i drink a hot cup of coffee and await the next spectacle of nature: sunrise.
in my gallery you can also find photographs from outside of switzerland. these are mainly wildlife and landscape images that i took whilst traveling.

my name is nicolas and i'm a passionate photographer from switzerland. equipped with a camera, a sleeping bag and sometimes a tent i trek to beautiful places hidden in the swiss alps.
the pictures you see here are the result of weeks if not months of planning ahead before finding the right spot along with the perfect light. however, it's the time after the sun has set that fascinates me the most. more often than not, i crawl out of my cozy warm sleeping bag at 02:00
